There were 52 attendants to the First ENYSSP Workshop coming from 10 different countries. The majority of attendants came from The Netherlands (48%) and Belgium (27%), but the workshop had a strong international presence with 25% of the participants coming from 8 different European countries.
The results from the evaluation form show that (on a 1 to 5 scale) the Workshop was evaluated as Very Good (overall average of 4.1) by the attendants who returned their evaluation forms (56%).
The Applied Sport Psychology Symposium had three different presenters from three different countries by Afke Van de Wouw (NED), Els Snauwaert (BEL), and Cristina Rolo (POR). The second symposium focused on research in sport psychology by Xavier Sanchez (UK/ESP), Geir Jordet (NOR/ NED), and Magnus Lindwall (SWE).
Keynote speaker Rico Schuijers (NED) commented on his career as a applied sport psychologist in the Netherlands. The last session of the day was about education in sport psychology by Vana Hutter (NED), Jeroen Meganck (BEL) and Bregje Speet (NED).
The First ENYSSP Workshop was held at the Institute for Fundamental and Clinical Human Movement Sciences, Amsterdam (IFKB), and supported by the Faculty of Human Movement Sciences, Amsterdam (FBW) and the Institute of Human Movement Sciences, Groningen (IHMS).
